CORE 2025: Sharing Innovation and Insights in Auckland

Friday August 15, 2025

Our Head of Engineering – QLD, Daniel Buntine was at CORE 2025 in Auckland showcasing our innovative work on the Hope Island Station project on behalf of Queensland Rail and the wider project team. The presentation generated strong interest from peers, reflecting the relevance of the challenges and solutions we’re working on.

A notable highlight of the conference was the technical tour, with special thanks to KiwiRail and Auckland Transport for providing access to the Auckland Rail Operations Centre and the Wiri Train Depot, it demonstrated a remarkable transformation of Auckland’s rail network over the past two decades.

More than anything, these events allow our team to connect with fellow engineering professionals from across Australasia, exchanging experiences, ideas, and lessons learned from different contexts.

Congratulations to the organisers and volunteers for delivering a seamless and thought-provoking event. We look forward to continuing these conversations at AusRAIL in Melbourne this November.
