Supporting population growth through accessible, future-ready rail infrastructure
The Logan and Gold Coast Faster Rail project is designed to increase rail capacity and reliability between Kuraby and Beenleigh in South East Queensland. The project involves duplicating the existing two-track corridor to four tracks, removing multiple level crossings, relocating and upgrading stations, and enhancing signalling and active transport connections. These works will significantly improve network performance, reduce congestion, and support population growth across the Logan–Gold Coast corridor ahead of the Brisbane 2032 Games.
