Enhancing Reliability and Compliance Through Asset Data and Strategy Improvements
The Gold Coast Light Rail (Stages 1 and 2) underwent a comprehensive asset management project to strengthen the quality and completeness of asset data. The work focused on closing data gaps across critical systems including track, civil structures, buildings, signalling, communications, and power. More than 8,000 assets were captured in new registers and around 10,000 as-built documents were catalogued, supporting ISO55001 certification and providing a stronger foundation for safe, reliable, and efficient network operations.
