We are thrilled to welcome John Portwood as our General Manager for Queensland, bringing 32 years of rail industry experience to our team.
John’s career began in the UK, where he developed expertise in planning and delivering complex rail projects.
Since moving to Brisbane in 2006, he has also led and managed early-stage development projects, strategic assessments, environmental and feasibility studies for large rail projects, demonstrating his adeptness in stakeholder engagement and project alignment.
With a proven track record in managing engineering teams, design management business cases, commissioning management, independent advisory services, change control management, verification and validation and operational readiness, John’s expertise will be a significant asset to our Queensland operations and clients.
