Expanded capacity and improved maintenance at train stabling facility in Melbourne’s West.
A 3 km long site located north of Wyndham Vale Station and capable of stabling up to six 6-carriage V/Line VLocity trains at any one time. Delivered by the Level Crossing Removal Authority, the project involved construction of a stabling yard, driver facilities and a bypass track connected to the Geelong line to allow trains to access the facility without delaying passenger services.
